NE WA Permaculture Group Meeting at Meyers Falls Market

October 25, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

At 4:00, there is a hands on fermentation workshop. How to ferment and preserve your extra veggies and the benefits from doing fermentation.

At 5:00, we will start the meeting so the fermentation workshop will be a short tutorial.   But this should give us enough time to cut up some veggies and stuff them in a crock or jar and have time for a few questions.

What you need for workshop: •veggies
•crock pot or a jar
If you have any excess of these items, please bring some to share.

Fruits can also be fermented.
But I prefer carrots, radish, cabbage, turnips, kohlrabi, burdock, and cucumber. I also prefer Celtic salt or Himalayan pink salt.

From 5-7p.m. we will have a Harvest Party Potluck and round table discussion on what harvesting looks like from a permaculture angle.  Please bring a potluck dish or many and ideas on this subject while we sit down and share bounty from our gardens.

This is also an opportunity to barter/trade/give access, to our friends and families in our group.
